Cedric Thornton Detonates the Middle Pack

My goodness.

I swear, something was wrong with my television set for a little bit there. Was that a blue jersey getting past the line of scrimmage? How could that possibly be done with such power and speed?

Don’t those come with yellow flags and false start preaches from the guys wearing stripes?

Look: defensive pressure isn’t one of the things the Dallas Cowboys are known for. But Cedric Thornton truly showed his power and “Marnielli” like quality against the Rams.

The former Philadelphia Eagles player hunted, chased, and accelerated even when the ball was out of his range.

The 28-year-old signed a four-year deal worth more than $18 million last March. The Arkansas native is looking to earn his mighty dollar. The Cowboys camp couldn’t be happier.

Bottom line: Impressed.
