2014 was a ground breaking year for the Dallas Cowboys. Franchise records were broken. And on another day they may well have headed to an NFC Championship game and subsequent Super Bowl.

Alas that wasn’t to be. And after a dismal 2015 (where the only thing being broken was Tony Romo’s collar bone) it’s hard to look forward positively and, as the t-shirts stated: Finish the Fight.

It’s just two seasons ago that the team went 8-0 on the road for the first time in the history of the franchise. DeMarco Murray set the single-season rushing record, surpassing one of the finest Cowboys ever in Emmitt Smith. While Dez Bryant set a record for single-season receiving touchdowns for the Cowboys.

Can the Cowboys bounce back from the doom and gloom and shatter media expectations and records to boot?
