Number Two:

• I wonder if running back Ezekiel Elliott can play 16 games or more in 2016.

In his final season at Ohio State, the 20-year-old ran the ball nearly 300 times, along with another 27 receptions. He is accounted for 316 plays from the line of scrimmage.

As a Big Ten runner, Elliott rushed a total of 592 times in his three seasons with Ohio State. Before it was all said and done, he touched the ball 650 times, totaling 44 touchdowns.

Yes, Elliott is only 20. But you gotta wonder how many games can the back play under the NFL lights, with the pressure of being the Dallas Cowboys fourth overall pick.

Elliott is often compared to Adrian Peterson and Todd Gurley. In 2007, Peterson played in 14 games as a rookie, starting nine of them. Gurley played in 13 games as a rookie runner last year, starting 12 of them.
