The undrafted players from the 2016 draft don’t have long to feel sorry for themselves. A flurry of activity saw teams scramble for names. And those picked up by the Dallas Cowboys will be heading straight into Rookie Camp this weekend.
Jon Machota tweeted out a picture listing the names of players vying to make an impression. From wide receivers to long snappers, Wisconsin to West Georgia; there’s variety and competition to make for an interesting experience.
Chris Brown, WR/QB, Cal-Poly
Height: 6’2”
Weight: 195 lbs
College Numbers: 34 games | 402 passing attempts | 57.2% passing completion | 3,147 passing yards | 35 passing touchdowns | 10 interceptions | 578 rushes | 3034 rushing yards | 38 rushing touchdowns | 24 fumbles
Played at quarterback for Cal-Poly but worked out as a quarterback, receiver and defensive back at his Pro Day in March. Brown had a combined school record of over 3,000 rushing and passing yards; it’s this athleticism that will have interested the Cowboys. They love traits and intangibles.
