D-Day has finally arrived. Draft day for the NFL where dreams are made and the path to the Hall of Fame can begin. Dallas Cowboys fans won’t have long to wait to see which player will don the silver and blue cap on stage in Chicago. This is assuming the Cowboys stick with their spot and pick at four.
In recent years, the Dallas Cowboys have picked predominantly players who have visited the team. In 2015 and 2014 the Cowboys first two picks had been part of the pre-draft visits- Byron Jones, Randy Gregory, Zack Martin and DeMarcus Lawrence.
While an official list of visitors isn’t released by the club, it’s usually easy to follow who is attending where by following the players on Social Media. This year, Brandon George from the Dallas Morning News did the leg work.
For some fun on the final few hours before decisions are made, people retract opinions or cast players off as busts before even taking a snap; here’s a mock draft made up entirely of players who the Cowboys have brought in for visits.
