The Dallas Cowboys grabbed Ohio State running back Ezekiel Elliott with the fourth overall selection in the 2016 NFL Draft Thursday night. Elliott, a prospect that slowly became a fan favorite as the draft neared, will now be heading to Dallas to form the new Triplets along with the quarterback Tony Romo and wide receiver Dez Bryant.
Fan reaction on Twitter has been off the charts, as can be expected when America’s Team drafts an offensive star like Elliott. But the reaction hasn’t all been positive as many fans wanted the Cowboys to address their defensive needs first.
