We reveal a player in each round of the upcoming NFL Draft that could bolster the Dallas Cowboys defensive line in 2016.

Since free agency began, the Dallas Cowboys have added defensive tackle Cedric Thornton and defensive end Benson Mayowa to their defensive line. With defensive end Greg Hardy a free agent as well as fellow defender Jack Crawford, the team clearly have a need to continue to add to the pool of defensive line players.

In April, the Cowboys may choose to spend their 4th overall pick to address that side of the ball. Florida State defensive back Jalen Ramsey would be an exemplary addition to the secondary. And Ohio State defensive end Joey Bosa is a name being touted as a potential replacement for Hardy and his 6.0 sacks from last season.

With Cowboys owner and general manager Jerry Jones at the helm, of course anything is possible come draft time as we’ve seen all too often over the years. Despite Jones dismissing the idea of drafting a quarterback in the first round, few would be surprised to see the team do so.

And is the recent free agent signing of veteran running back Alfred Morris just a smokescreen as the team set to take the electric Ezekiel Elliott out of Ohio State? Predict at your peril!

Whatever the Cowboys decide to do with their early first round pick, they can be confident that this a particularly deep defensive class and there is talent available throughout this draft. Round by round, here’s just some of the players they could look to reinforce their defensive line.
