#4 – Zack Martin, Offensive Guard

While the Cowboys flustered and flapped at the quarterback position throughout the season, never once did the notion “oh we should’ve drafted Johnny when we had the chance” go through my head.

Offensive lineman aren’t the faces of a franchise.

Many fans would fail to name tackles, guards or centers from opposing teams.

They’re the forgettable ones.

But that’s certainly not the case with the Cowboys line and in particular Zack Martin.

As a rookie in 2014, his play was effortless.

And that continued in 2015 despite arguably a poorer performance as a unit.

Martin is exciting to watch.

Throwing opponents to the ground or bowling up the field to block.

Martin graded out as the 4th best guard in the league.

But the Cowboys wouldn’t swap him for anyone.
