#8 – Rolando McClain, Linebacker

Put the word maverick into Google and it ought to bring up Rolando McClain’s name.

Unorthodox, independent, unconventional, free spirit….they all suit the 26-year old linebacker.

Not the hardest trainer or most committed professional but on his day he’s one of the best players to suit up for the Cowboys.

This year he made 50 tackles and 2 sacks in the 11 games he played in.

He graded in the top third of linebackers landing at 27 of 96.

It’s possible a linebacker will be too good to pass up with the 4th pick of the draft and while it would be foolish to tie McClain down to a long term mega money deal a continuation of an incentive driven contract makes a lot of sense for both parties.
