Analysis: In my mind, only one wide recevier in the upcoming draft is worthy of top ten selection. And that’s Ole Miss’ Laquon Treadwell. If he falls to the Cowboys, it could be hard for owner/general manager Jerry Jones to resist pairing him with Dez Bryant.

Wide out is certainly a need in Dallas after an early injury to Bryant revealed a major deficiency in their wide recevier core this season. Terrance Williams and Cole Beasley proved they can not produce without a player like Dez to draw most of the opposing defense’s attention. Adding a player like Treadwell could very well make the Cowboys passing offense unstoppable.

The Cowboys could also look to free agency to add some much needed veteran depth. Especially if they can find a dual threat receiver/returner to aid them on special teams. And their are several of those kinds of players who should be available via free agency this offseason.
