2012: Cincinnati Bengals – Kevin Zeitler

Earlier this week the Bengals picked up the option on Kevin Zeitler’s contract which suggests they’re happy with their selection.

The guard out of Wisconsin was an immediate starter and despite missing the odd game through injury he remains so.

He ranked 9th this year among guards on PFF (three places below Cowboys rookie Zack Martin).

2014 was the third pick in four years that the Cowboys have spent on their offensive line, and Jerry Jones hasn’t ruled out the same happening again tonight.

"“You just wouldn’t have thought that we would have drafted an offensive lineman last year after your last two first picks, but it was obvious that he was the best player there for us.”"

According to Bryan Broaddus from the Cowboys media team, the Cowboys have 18 first round grades on players this year.

If it comes to their pick and the best player available is an offensive line man, then don’t be surprised to see them pull the trigger and make the great wall of Dallas even greater.
