Morgan represents the kind of guy that you might be getting at just the right time.  Here is another guy who could really see blossom under Marinelli’s wing.

His game is predicated upon converting his speed and quickness into power.  Morgan likes to gain an edge by blowing by his blocker then using the imbalance against his opponent to drive the blocker back into the pocket.

Another aspect of his game that you have to like is his durability.  In the last four seasons, he has only missed one game.  He has also totaled 13 sacks in the last three years as well showing some versatility with his coverage skills.

Given that his rookie contract guaranteed him $10.6M out of the $15.4M he was signed for, he will likely cost more than Clayborn but he could also be on the verge of a breakout.  If the Cowboys choose to splurge at all, this might be where they do so.
