Handling blitz is key to beating Cardinals
Jean-Jacques Taylor – ESPNDallas.com

"IRVING, Texas — The Washington Redskins didn’t create some blueprint to beat the Dallas Cowboys with their blitzing attack Monday night. They just executed their plan well, and the Cowboys didn’t. The Cowboys missed too many assignments whether we’re talking the offensive line, running backs or tight ends, and quarterback Tony Romo didn’t consistently get rid of the ball fast enough. For now, the Washington loss is an aberration. That’s because Romo has been outstanding against the blitz much of the season. He has completed 49 of 75 passes against the blitz for 634 yards with eight touchdowns, two interceptions and a 116.2 passer rating. Click to the title to read the entire article…"

Keeping Hope Alive Romo Can Somehow Play On Sunday
Mickey Spagnola – DallasCowboys.com

"IRVING, Texas – Tony Romo did on practice on Wednesday. Tony Romo did not practice on Thursday. Tony Romo did not practice on Friday. Tony Romo on the official NFL injury report for Sunday’s game against the Arizona Cardinals, noon, AT&T Stadium, is being listed as questionable. If we should dabble in deductive reasoning, we’d have to come up with a designation somewhere between the 50-percent chance of playing questionable and the 25-percent chance of playing doubtful. So since we’re not official, and will not officially find out if Romo is playing in Sunday’s game against the 6-1 Cardinals, now officially tied with Denver for the best winning percentage in the NFL, until 10:30 a.m. Sunday when the official list of seven inactives must be turned in to the officials, let’s list his chances of playing as highly questionable, at least keeping hope alive. Joseph Randle jaws with Dez Bryant at Cowboys practice, causing Jason Witten to intervene
Jon Machota – Dallasnews.com

"IRVING – Friday’s practice at Valley Ranch began with Dallas Cowboys starting wide receiver Dez Bryant and reserve running back Joseph Randle jawing back and forth at each other. After the team lined up for their pre-practice stretching, Randle kept talking. That caused Cowboys tight end Jason Witten, who was just in front of Randle, to turn around and yell and curse at the second-year player, “Don’t say nothing from here on out.”Randle appeared to say something else, causing Witten to turn around again and address him.“I don’t really feel comfortable talking about it,” Witten said after practice. “We handle it inside our football team. It’s all good…” Click to the title to read the entire article…"

Player tiffs happen, get over it
Calvin Watkins – ESPNDallas.com

"IRVING, Texas — Dallas Cowboys wide receiver Dez Bryant and running back Joseph Randle exchanged heated words during Friday’s practice at Valley Ranch. It got to the point where tight end Jason Witten told Randle to, well this is a family website, to shut up. The reason for the exchange surrounds Randle getting booked into jail two weeks ago by Frisco, Texas, police for shoplifting and saying a few things about teammates — Josh Brent and Bryant. On a videotape released to Dallas-area television stations, Fox 4 and CBS 11, Randle asked about possibly getting suspended for his arrest on shoplifting charges and noted Brent, who did some time for intoxication manslaughter, was in the Cowboys’ locker room. Then, Randle said this about Bryant, “Dez don’t miss no games for smacking his mom.” Click to the title to read the entire article…"
