Wide Receivers

Who Stays:

Cole Beasley, WR
Dez Bryant, WR
Dwayne Harris, WR
Devin Street, WR
Terrance Williams, WR

Who Goes:

Dezmon Briscoe, WR
LaRon Byrd, WR
Jamar Newsome, WR

Analysis:

For me, it comes down to Street and Byrd. And honestly, it’s pretty close after Thursday night’s game. But considering the lack of competition in that matchup, the edge goes to Street. And that’s mainly due to his 2014 fifth round selection. Byrd will certainly land on his feet somewhere else. I’m just having flashbacks of former Cowboy receivers Jimmy Smith, Andre Holmes and Danny Amendola here. Also, Newsome would be a sure-fire bet for the practice squad. Unfortunately, he isn’t eligible.
