Five Dallas Cowboys to Watch During Sunday’s NFC East Title Match

Offense

Tony Romo: Can Romo overcome and play through another injury to lead the Boys to the playoffs? Yes, and he will. I have all the faith in the world in Romo and believe that he will led the Boys past the Giants and into the playoffs. Romo has played through a rib injury this season and didn’t seem effected by it.  I see him playing the exact same way with this injury. Romo played really well against the Giants just 2 weeks ago; I think he will play even better Sunday. I see Romo having 3 touchdown passes and over 300 yards

Dez Bryant: Can Dez be the number 1 guy and really break out in a big game? Yes, I believe that he is the number 1 guy, and I think this is the game he really shines. Bryant needs to step up and just take over a game, and I fully expect him to do that Sunday. The last time these two teams met, Dez had 1 catch for 50 yards and a touchdown. While a touchdown is great, Dez has to be more involved in the offense and make more plays. Romo being injured means that the wide receivers are going to need to do more to help him. I see Bryant having 7 catches for 120 yards and 1 touchdown.

Felix Jones: Can Jones stay on the field long enough to have an impact? We will see on this one, Jones finally had the chance to show what he is made of with an injury to DeMarco Murray, but he couldn’t stay healthy enough to get on the field. Now while Sammy Morris has done a good job running the ball he is not the main guy and if the Cowboys are going to win they are going to need their main guy. Jones says he is good to go for this week’s game and if the Cowboys are going to make the playoffs he is going to have to be. I see Jones having 80 yards and making some big runs late to put the game away.
Defense

DeMarcus Ware: Will the defensive MVP finally get his defense to play well for 4 quarters? DeMarcus Ware is the heart and soul of the Cowboys defense, however last time against the Giants Ware was held in check and was very quiet. This can’t happen if the Boys are going to keep on playing past week 17. Ware has to have a monster game and keep consistent pressure on Eli and not allow him to be comfortable in the pocket. If Ware is quiet it may be a long night for the defense, but if the Ware can get in the back field it may be a long night for the G-Men. I see Ware with 5 tackles and 2 sacks.

Coaches

Jason Garrett and Rob Ryan: Will the coaches have the Boys ready to play? God I hope so! Earlier this week Cowboys great Emmitt Smith questioned the Cowboys’ toughness and wondered if the Cowboys we mentally tough enough to win this game. Jason Garrett needs to have his team ready to respond to that, and Rob Ryan needs to use something to wake that defense up. The defense which was once the strength of the team has looked pathetic since the Buffalo game. If these coaches don’t want their jobs security being questioned for the entire off-season, they better have this team ready to play. I think the Cowboys have what it takes to win; it’s up to Garrett and Ryan to prove me right!
