NFL Power Rankings: Week 15

# | +/- | Team | Comment | |
| — | Tennessee Titans | The Titans can thank my vote for rookie of the year (Chris Johnson) for their rushing dominance.
| — | New YorkGiants | The Giants are walking in the footsteps of last years Dallas Cowboys. They better clean up there act before Sunday, or the Cowboys could upset them in Texas Stadium.
| — | Pittsburgh Steelers | The Steelers did not beat the Cowboys on Sunday. The Steelers beat Tony Romo.
| — | Carolina Panthers | Watching this team on Monday Night Football made me a believer. This team could creep into the number one playoff seed.
| +2 | Baltimore Ravens | The Ravens man-handled the Redskins. This was not the Redskins from mid-season. The Ravens are still impressive.
| — | Indianapolis Colts | The Colts may be the most dangerous playoff team in the AFC. I would never sleep on number 18 on the road to the playoffs.
| -2 | Dallas Cowboys | I’m still sick from the loss to the Steelers, but more good came from this game than we realize. Besides the pick six at the end of the game, our D outplayed the Steelers top ranked D. If our Offense and Defense can click down the stretch, we can beat anyone.
| |
| +4 | Tampa Bay Buccaneers | It’s kind of funny, I never really respected the Buccaneers this entire season… until now. It’s strange that I realized how good this team is after they lost to the Panthers. But this team can be a force in the playoffs.
| — | Atlanta Falcons | The Falcons chose a bad time to lose. They still played a hell of a game, but the Saints played a little bit better. This team is still very alive in the playoff hunt.
| +3 | Arizona Cardinals | The Cardinals are looking to jump the future NFC North leaders.
| -1 | Philadelphia Eagles | If the Eagles would have beaten the Bengals, I would bet on them to get into the playoffs. It’s still possible, but they will need help from a few other teams.
| +2 | Miami Dolphins | I think that the Jets are more complete, but the Dolphins may be more dangerous.
| -5 | New York Jets | The Jets need to win out to fight off the Dolphins and Patriots.
| -3 | New England Patriots | I think the Patriots chances were destroyed when Tedy Bruschi got carted off the field. We’ll see.
| +4 | New Orleans Saints | Reggie Bush gives this team a chance to win out. With the entire division still on each others schedule, this Saints are still alive.
| — | Minnesota Vikings | The Vikings may need to win out to keep the Bears out of their playoff spot.
| +1 | Denver Broncos | Denver squeaked by the Chiefs, but a win is a win and this team is in control of there own fate.
| -3 | Chicago Bears | The Bears will be on the Vikings’ tail until the final tick of the season.
| -2 | Washington Redskins | Some one shut Clinton Portis up, please. He might have spent his last year in burgundy and gold.
| |
| — | San Diego Chargers | The Chargers should play L.T. in the preseason next year. Maybe he’ll wake up before week 13.
| — | Houston Texans | If the Texans were playing like this a few weeks ago, they would have a good shot at a playoff spot.
| +1 | Buffalo Bills | The Bills crumbled. J.P. Losman led the team in rushing. Are you kidding me?
| +1 | San Fransisco 49ers | The 49ers are like the Texans… Getting hot too late.
| -2 | Green Bay Packers | After hammering the Bears the Packers drop three in a row… Damn.
| |
| +5 | Cleveland Browns | The Browns tried to improve their defense in the offseason, but somehow it got worse. And then the offense started to sputter and you’re left with a bad team again.
| -1 | Seattle Seahawks | The Seahawks are out off my bottom five. They aren’t winning games, but they are trying to at least.
| — | Kansas City Chiefs | The Chiefs had a shot at winning that game.
| -2 | Jacksonville Jaguars | The Jaguars are as big of a disappointment as the Chargers.
| — | Oakland Raiders | The Raiders beat 2 division leaders and the Chiefs. If I were them I would try to lose out and snatch Crabtree from Texas Tech.
| -2 | Detroit Lions | This team may not have a win, but they have more heart than the two teams I ranked below them.
| — | St. Louis Rams | Two fluke wins over the Cowboys and Redskins can’t mask the terribleness that this team illuminates.
| — | Cincinnati Bengals | Thank you for tying with the Eagles. |
