Power Rankings: Week 13

Sunday was the first time in about 10 years that I did not get to watch any football at all. Instead… I drove 14 hours in a storm. How was your Sunday?!

No fancy smancy layout this week because I just don’t have time to set it up, but here are Ironman’s Week 13 power rankings.
1. Giants
No change here, the Giants are still the force of the NFL.

2. Titans
The Titans bounced back with a Thanksgiving Massacre of the Lions.

3.Steelers
The Patriots did not stand a chance in the second half. The Cowboys will be a great test for the Steelers this week. This team is like the bully of the NFL.

4. Falcons
The Falcons impress me more and more every week. They have a hungry Saints team coming up.

5. Cowboys
The Dallas Cowboys have won 3 straight, but no one is too impressed. If they beat the Steelers on Sunday, the Dallas Cowboys bandwagon will be in full force! It won’t be easy, but the Cowboys sure do stand a chance.

6. Buccaneers
The Buccaneers are in the same boat as the Panthers. Not many people respect them, but they just keep winning.

7. Panthers
The Panthers are a better team than I thought they were. The playoff stretch is going to be grueling.

8. Colts
The Colts squeaked by the Browns, but wins are priceless going into December.

9. Ravens
The Ravens crunched the Bengals. But let’s see what happens when they take on the Redskins. Should be a good game. Not really. The Redskins offense has been lethargic of late.

10. Jets
The Jets had a clunker on Sunday. Kind of like the one they had against the Raiders. Now is not the time to be down playing to bad teams. Especially with the Patriots and Dolphins breathing down your neck.

11. Cardinals
The Cardinals should just rest their starters now.

12. Broncos
The Broncos proved the entire world wrong. Maybe they do have what it takes to make a playoff run. We shall see.

13. Vikings
The Vikings offense looked hot, but losing your D-line in the playoff stretch is bad news bears.

14. Patriots
They let the Steelers steal the game in the second half.

15. Redskins
They got pounded on Sunday, but I wouldn’t be too worried, the Giants pound everyone they play.

16. Dolphins
The Dolphins held on tight. If the Colts or Ravens slip up, this team could get into the post season. That would be one of the biggest franchise turn-arounds of all time.

17. Eagles
The Eagles looked like a playoff team on Thursday night.

18. Saints
The Saints were so close, but couldn’t get a much-needed victory.

19. Bears
A 99-yard touchdown by Bernard Berrian really pumps me up. Why? Because he is on my fantasy team = ). The Bears got embarrassed on Sunday Night Football.

20. Bills
The Bills went from the top to the bottom in no time. It’s a shame this team has the make up to be a solid unit.

21. Packers
How do you blow that game?

22. Texans
The Texans showed why they are ranked so high on offense, regardless of the lost season. This team is similar to the Colts of years ago. An offense that you can’t slow down, but a defense that can’t slow anyone else down. With a couple of young super stars on defense maturing, this team will be good in the next few years. Real good. But we’ve been saying that for the past few years, haven’t we?

23. 49ers
I wouldn’t mind seeing the Cowboys go after one of the three Quarterbacks on this roster. Any of them would be an upgrade at back-up QB.

24. Chargers
A must win game was lost. All hope is gone.

25. Jaguars
They will see a much higher draft pick than anyone could have guessed.

26. Browns
They fought hard against the Colts. But like losers always do… they lost.

27. Chiefs
Out of the basement, but still need plenty of work!
