5. Quarterback

The most talked about position in all of football, especially if you are the quarterback of America's Team facing the every-year pressure of leading the team to glory.

That’s exactly what Dak Prescott is still trying to do. There is no doubt Prescott can lead the team into the postseason, which he has done multiple times. But can he lead the franchise to its first Super Bowl since 1995?

In the last two seasons, Prescott led the Cowboys to the playoffs and twice were knocked out by the 49ers. He also has had a dominating career against the NFC East. But, while he has had big moments in the regular season, the disappointing and recent performances in the postseason have fans growing restless.

While Prescott still has the organization’s support, the $40 million face of the franchise must deliver, take care of the ball, and stay on the field.

Prescott led the league with 15 interceptions in 2022. Injuries have also been a negative factor, as Prescott has not played a full season since 2019.  Not to worry, though. At least the Cowboys have a secure and reliable backup in Cooper Rush, who is 5-1 as a starter. But, overall, Dallas can only go as far as Prescott can take them.
