It wouldn't be a big time NFL game without a little bit of catch controversy.
After three (very) boring quarters of football in Super Bowl LVIII, the 4th quarter finally lived up to expectations. The 49ers and the Chiefs ended up in overtime, thanks in part to a big catch from San Francisco fullback Kyle Juszczyk. Or was it?

Hard to tell. It sort of looks like every other questionable catch that happens in the NFL, and it doesn't help that no one knows what a catch actually is. Luckily for Cowboys fans and also everyone else, Dez Bryant's on Twitter. And if anyone should be allowed to single-handedly decide what is and is not a catch, it's Bryant. And, true to form, he gave us the definitive ruling:

There you have it. It wasn't a catch. And even though it was ruled as a catch, we all know it wasn't, thanks to Dez. The NFL should hire him in a consulting role for things like this. (And while it's kind of a joke, it's not like they're doing anything better right now.) And for whatever it's worth, everyone agreed.

And yeah, no one's going to remember the catch at all. Quite frankly, 49ers fans probably aren't even remotely interested in this conversation whatsoever. But when Dez Bryant weighs in on a catch, the world listens. And that's what matters most.
