Cowboys' DeMarvion Overshown ahead of schedule in ACL rehab

Linebacker is currently a sensitive topic on Cowboys Twitter. Nearly everyone recognizes the team needs to address the position in the offseason. Damone Clark hasn't developed at the desired speed, and Markquese Bell's smaller frame and lack of instincts (unsurprising for a former safety) have been exposed.

It's clear the Cowboys miss 2023 third-round pick DeMarvion Overshown, who popped in training camp and preseason before a torn ACL ended his rookie year before it started. His 6-foot-2, 220-pound frame and physicality are sorely missed in the second level of the defense.

Incredibly, Overshown is already back at practice. He was spotted working on the resistance cords with nothing supporting his knee.

It sure looks like Overshown is ahead of schedule. The former Texas Longhorn hopes to be ready for the start of OTAs. Based on this update, that's a realistic goal.
