Cowboys 7-round 2024 mock draft: Reloading the offense for Super Bowl run
By Reid Hanson
Round 6, Pick 212: Marcus Rosemy-Jacksaint, WR
Even in this WR-rich draft class, getting Marcus Rosemy-Jacksaint in the sixth feels like a steal. The Georga WR is a 6-foot-1, 205-pound target with a huge catch radius, strong hands, and natural feel in contested ball situations.
His numbers in 2023 were a modest 34 receptions for 535 yards but he was highly efficient when targeted (125.7 passer rating) and was a good intermediate threat/safety blanket. His deep speed will likely hold him back and his lack of separation can be a concern. He doesn’t have jaw dropping cuts in his routes but has just enough wiggle to gain leverage with his frame. He knows how to use his hands and his body and dominates in situations that look 50-50.
He plays bigger than he really is and is a willing blocker down field and on the edge. He’s also a good runner with the ball in his hands and can be schemed situations in order to make plays.
The Cowboys are likely moving on from Gallup over the offseason and while they remain optimistic in Jalen Tolbert, they don’t want to put all their eggs in his basket. Adding a player like Rosemy-Jacksaint to the mix, rounds out a fun depth chart in Dallas that will rotate personnel behind Lamb and Cooks.
