Eagles Player to Steal: C Jason Kelce

I know fans may wonder why not Jalen Hurts. He was coming off an MVP-caliber season and was just minutes away from a Super Bowl title. Let's consider and factor in the salary cap in this situation. The Cowboys couldn't carry two big-money players at the most important position.

Instead, the team chooses an option to improve the entire offensive line. Jason Kelce is a future Hall of Famer and one of the best centers ever to play the game. His presence and leadership would impact the entire unit.

While current Cowboys center Tyler Biadsz is coming off a Pro Bowl season. Kelce would be an upgrade. According to PFF, Kelce logged 1,149 snaps last season and didn’t allow a single sack and just 11 pressures.

Let's remind everyone of Kelces' resume. He is a five-time first-team All-Pro, six-time Pro-Bowler, and Super Bowl champion. His durability is one of the best, with 176 games played and 176 starts. While he is 35, Kelce is not slowing down as he was named first-team All-Pro and to the Pro Bowl in 2022.

Summary

There certainly are several players from each of the three clubs that the Cowboys could choose from and that fans could debate over. What led me to select these three players is all factored in by building to win now, building for the future, and giving Dallas replacement options for older or current contract-year players on the roster.
