1. A’Shawn Robinson

If there’s one position on Dallas’ roster that could use a high-profile addition, it’s the interior defensive line. Osa Odighizuwa is a stud and fresh off posting four sacks, 31 pressures and 26 defensive stops in 2022, but the Cowboys don’t have much else behind the former third-round pick.

And for all the strides Odighizuwa made as a sophomore, he’s more comfortable creating pressure on QBs than stopping the run. That’s part of the reason Dallas went out and traded for Johnathan Hankins mid-season in October.

Enter Robinson, who’s one of the top interior DL left on the market after Daron Payne, Javon Hargrave and Dalvin Tomlinson secured big pay days.

Despite missing the second half of last season with a torn meniscus, Robinson ranks inside the top 20 amongst his peers with 46 defensive stops over the last two seasons. His 73.6 run-defense grade is tied for 12th at the position during that same span, according to Pro Football Focus.

Robinson would be a tremendous get for the Cowboys. That cannot be overstated, but Dallas better get a move on, as the Fort Worth, TX native (!) is scheduled to meet with the New York Giants on Monday, per reports.

Don’t let him get away.
