8. The front office still has some work to do

This team has its stars, as I had stated before, but in other key positions, they just aren’t holding up and are holding this team back. This is true on both sides of the ball, and the two biggest positions are very similar: wide receiver and cornerback.

At wide receiver, No. 88 has been fantastic, there is no doubt about that. However, the rest of the group has just not lived up to expectations. Michael Gallup shows up every couple games and disappears in the rest, and Noah Brown played well, but had some big time drop issues.

Meanwhile, James Washington didn’t produce anything and was cut, Jalen Tolbert has barely seen the field, and T.Y Hilton was brought in and done a solid job over the past couple weeks. There is no consistency with that group and they need help.

The cornerback group has been decimated by injuries, with Anthony Brown and Jourdan Lewis both having season-ending surgeries. Even with them in the fold, the group still needs help, especially with some contracts expiring after this year.
