Dallas Cowboys: Dalton Schultz, TE

Dalton Schultz seems to have a nose for the end zone against the Eagles as of late. The Cowboys tight end isn’t having the production he did in 2021, but that is partially due to a knee injury he has been nursing. He didn’t play the first matchup against the Eagles this year due to that troublesome joint.

In his last two games against the Eagles, Schultz has nine catches for 101 yards. He is a first down machine. What is even more impressive is that of those nine catches in the last two meetings, four have them have resulted in touchdowns. He is doing to the Eagles what so many of their tight ends did to the Cowboys for so long.

This week could be a chance for Schultz and Prescott to find the groove they had in 2021 and get things on the same page for the playoffs. I think we see Schultz find the end zone again.

Philadelphia Eagles: Darius Slay, CB

Alright, hand up, I have to take ownership for the Zay Jones breakout game last week. I predicted him as the Jaguars’ player to watch. That’s on me.

This week, my player to watch for the Eagles is cornerback Darius Slay. Slay going against CeeDee Lamb fascinates me. Lamb is over 1,000 yards on the year with three games to play and is the Cowboys’ No. 1 wide receiver. Slay will work to slow him down and force Prescott to look elsewhere with the ball.

Slay has three interceptions and 13 pass deflections on the year. He gets his hands on the ball. He is top-20 in the NFL in catches allowed, passer rating against him, and yards per target allowed.
