5. Dak Prescott Played Nearly Perfectly, Aside from One Moment

Looking at the box score, you may disagree with the “perfect” part of the this statement, and may question my “one moment” ending to the phrase. However, Dak Prescott did indeed play a phenomenal game, and perhaps his best one of the season.

No. 4 finished the game 23-of-30 for 256 yards, three passing touchdowns, two interceptions, and 20 rushing yards. Prescott finished the game with a 76.7% completion percentage, an 80% adjusted completion percentage (takes away drops from percentage), and 8.5 yards per attempt.

Now, the one bad moment I was referring to is not the pick-six to seal the game, but rather the first interception by Prescott. While under pressure, Prescott just completely overthrew Dalton Schultz, and the rock landed right in the hands of an waiting Jaguars defender. Aside from that, No. 4 was dealing.

The pick-six wasn’t on Prescott. As can be seen above, he not only made a great throw, which would’ve given the offense a first down, but said throw also bounced right off of Noah Brown’s hands. The man did everything he could to keep the Cowboys in this one, so it would be wrong to blame Prescott completely for this loss.
