1. Anthony Rush’s First Game is a Good One

You might have thought I was talking about the return of Tyron Smith for the Cowboys, but I want to talk about the impact that Anthony Rush can have on this defense.

During his time in Atlanta, Rush was put in a situation where he was asked to play in a 3-4 defense when he was better suited to play in the 4-3 defense. Rush has the ability to handle double teams and free up other defenders to make plays, which is exactly what the Cowboys need after losing Johnathan Hankins last week.

This week, Rush will get the chance to show how much of a factor he can be in defending the run.

His size and power are going to really show up on the field this weekend, and he will be a big reason why the Cowboys are going to be able to slow this Jaguars running attack.

Game Prediction: With Rush in the lineup, the Cowboys won’t give up a run longer than 10 yards, and will hold the Jaguars to 70 yards rushing in the game.
