4. The Front Office Needs to Add Corner Help

Although I just spent two paragraphs raving about DaRon Bland, this team still needs help at the cornerback position. The secondary has benefitted from an elite defensive line, but they will get exposed if the line fails to show up one day.

The loss of Jourdan Lewis was one thing. The team has lived through that. However, now starting outside corner Anthony Brown is expected to miss the rest of the season with an achilles injury.

With the team being down two starting corners, this now means a couple of things. One, the team needs to go and get a corner. Whether that’s from free agency, or one possibly becoming available on waivers, someone needs to be brought in. This room is getting very thin.

However, this also means another thing. We will get to see exactly what they have in 2021 second-round pick Kelvin Joseph. Assuming they don’t make a big move, Joseph will be expected to start alongside Trevon Diggs and, more than likely, Bland. Nahshon Wright will take Joseph’s special teams snaps, according to special teams coach John Fassel.
