Full first-round 2023 NFL Mock Draft: Cowboys add superstar RB weapon
With Orlando Brown Jr. in his contract year, the Kansas City Chiefs may be ready to move on from the offensive tackle, due to cap implications. In that world, Paris Johnson Jr. is the pick for the Chiefs. Johnson has been one of the best tackles in the country, allowing no sacks this season and just eight pressures.
Perhaps one of the best speed rushers in college football, B.J Ojulari could add another element to the Minnesota Vikings’ defense. Having Ojulari, Za’Darius Smith, and Danielle Hunter could be devastating for opponents, as Ojulari currently has five sacks and 39 pressures to his name this year.
The Buffalo Bills are stacked seemingly everywhere, so this was a very difficult pick to make. However, why not bring in one of the best corners in college football in Clark Phillips III? Phillips is a ball-hawk, having snagged five interceptions so far in 2022, and he could bring that same attitude to Buffalo, helping contribute to an already elite Bills defense.

The Eagles own the last pick of the first round as it currently stands. The first round will only contain 31 picks this year due to the Miami Dolphins being forced to forfeit their first-round selection in 2023. With the final pick of the first round, the Eagles add to their safety room in the form of Jordan Battle. Battle is a force in run defense and is one of the best tacklers out of collegiate safeties.
