Full first-round 2023 NFL Mock Draft: Cowboys add superstar RB weapon
The Denver Broncos, via the San Francisco 49ers, are also a bit of a mess right now. They don’t have their own first-round pick which currently resides at No. 11, so they have to work with this. Here, they select linebacker Trenton Simpson. Simpson is one of the best at getting to the quarterback when he gets the chance to, but he also has been solid at stopping the run and in coverage.
Another team that has underperformed compared to expectations, the Los Angeles Chargers sit at No. 21 in this mock. They go with Tyree Wilson, out of Texas Tech, who is one of the best pass rushers in the nation. Wilson currently has seven sacks, 14 tackles for loss, 46 pressures, and 31 run stops on the year.

The Tennessee Titans need a new left tackle. Dennis Daley is not cutting it, and they get their choice at any tackle they want in the draft with none being taken yet to this point. Peter Skoronski is the choice here. Skoronski has been nearly unbeatable this year, allowing just one sack and five pressures in 383 pass-blocking snaps.
The Seahawks are on the clock for the second time, and they will continue to add to their defense, this time at the safety position. Brian Branch has become a star in 2022. He is one of the surest tacklers in the nation, having only one missed tackle so far this season, and is one of the best run-defending safeties in the NCAA.
