Cowboys vs Seahawks: Gut projection

Projection: Seattle Seahawks 23, Dallas Cowboys 14

The sole reason for this score is that the Seahawks are simply going to have more to figure out with their starting quarterback situation. Geno Smith will start and get reps followed by Drew Lock getting his chance to prove what he can do to head coach Pete Carroll.

The Cowboys have come out and said that the plan is to get the starters their work during the practices and let the backups do the majority of the work on Friday. Frankly, I prefer this as well. There is just no need to let starters risk injury on the heels of Tyron Smith suffering a major injury keeping him out until December at the earlier.

This one could turn into some ugly and weird football late Friday evening when we get the second half of backups in. But, then again, if you subject yourself to this, you are definitely sick enough to subject yourself to that experience on Friday night just as I will be doing.
