4. Jayron Kearse, Safety

After a huge 2021 season, safety Jayron Kearse is ready to make the next big leap. I believe he will be considered a clear-cut top ten safety in the league after this season.

With 101 tackles, two interceptions, 10 passes defended, and nine tackles for loss, Kearse was a main reason for the Cowboys’ defensive success last year and he was arguably snubbed from the Pro Bowl last year.

He was re-signed this offseason, but it was not the contract he deserves, so be ready to see an even hungrier Kearse as we move through the 2022 season.

This defense is going to keep on improving, and Kearse is a big reason why. It has been nearly decades since the Cowboys had a reliable talent at safety, but they have found one with Kearse. This time next year he will be a Pro Bowl safety, hopefully playing in Dallas.
