2. Justin Jefferson, Minnesota Vikings

The college teammate of our third-toughest wide receiver is Minnesota Vikings receiver, Justin Jefferson. But, unlike Chase, the Cowboys have faced off with Jefferson two times before. Also, Dallas has had some success against Jefferson, especially last season.

In two games against the Cowboys, Jefferson has five catches for 107 yards and one touchdown. But, in 2021, the Cowboys held him to just two receptions for 21 yards.

The one problem for Jefferson that isn’t an issue for the other wide receivers listed is his quarterback is inconsistent. Kirk Cousins has been a good player throughout his career but not great, and the Cowboys have dominated Cousins ever since his days back in Washington. While Jefferson the player is great, his quarterback sometimes limits his upside.

For Jefferson, like most elite receivers in the NFL, he can beat you in a multitude of ways. The Viking has speed and great route running that allows him to separate from even the best cornerbacks in the league.

The 23-year-old led the league in deep targets last year with 34. Trevon Diggs helped hold Jefferson to the 2/23 stat line last year and being able to shut down the big play is huge in stopping the LSU product. Overall, Jefferson will be another tough test for Dallas in 2022, but thankfully, he is not someone they are unfamiliar with.
