Pick Analysis. CooperKupp. 51. Scouting Report. Week 5. @ Los Angeles Rams. 3. player

The third player on the list is arguably the best receiver in the NFL. Cooper Kupp had one of the best seasons a wide receiver has ever had last season, logging a stunning 145 receptions for 1,947 yards and 16 touchdowns. Kupp won Offensive Player of the Year and finished third in the MVP race.

The main reason why I have Kupp at third and not first on this list is because there is uncertainty as to how much of Kupp vs. Diggs we will see. This is mostly due to the L.A. superstar spending a lot of time in the slot instead of the outside, where Diggs primarily resides.

Last season, Kupp played 64.6% of his snaps in the slot, while lining up outside for just 34.7% of the time. Regardless of who is the best receiver on the field, Diggs generally shadows the opposing team’s best receiver outside of the hashes, which may be Allen Robinson in this showdown. Since that is up in the air, Kupp will still take the No. 3 spot for the Rams because he will be expected to line up against the Cowboys’ star for at least a third of the game.
