1. Daryl Williams, Offensive Tackle, Buffalo Bills

According to NFL Trade Rumor’s list of the best available free agents left, offensive tackle Daryl Williams is No. 11. He’s also the highest-ranked offensive lineman on the list. This 6-6, 330-pound Texas native could be a great veteran signing for Dallas.

Another great aspect about Williams is that he’s durable. In his last two years in Buffalo, he started every single game for the Bills. Perhaps his best trait is his versatility. Williams filled in at both right guard and right tackle. For a team like the Cowboys that has several holes to fill, that adaptability could be a huge plus. The seven-year vet received the second-highest grade among Bills’ linemen, per PFF. He certainly isn’t one of the top players in the league, but he did have a second-team All-Pro nod in 2017.

In both 2020 and 2021, the 29-year-old gave up four or fewer sacks. The Bills released him in March because of cap space, but he still remains a versatile lineman who could play guard for the team. There is still a chance that Williams ends up back with Buffalo, but if the Cowboys want to help secure OL depth, they could make an offer for him. At the end of the day his ability to start in every game for the past two years makes him a big asset in a position that often deals with. injuries.

Will Stephen Jones actually live up to his word and sign more people? Will they be people who are worthwhile? It’s hard to count on it, but these are three options if he does plan to.
