2. Nick Sciba – Wake Forest

Height: 5’9  Weight: 191lbs

Career Stats: 193/193 extra points made (100%), 80/89 field goals made (89.9%), 52-yard career long

If Dallas wants consistency and longevity (something they have certainly not gotten with Zuerlein) over a big leg then Nick Sciba would be a good option. Throughout his time at Wake Forest, this kicker didn’t miss a single extra point… looking at you, Greg.

Seen by some as their most reliable weapon, Sciba was able to make a name for himself while having a career-long of 49 yards during his time with Wake Forest. At this year’s HulaBowl, he was able to convert a 52-yard field goal and had enough behind it for a longer kick displaying his leg strength. That leg strength could be what keeps teams away, but if you’re looking for a consistent kicker that’s something some may look past.

Last season, Zuerlein burned the Cowboys on more than just field goals. He also missed six extra points last season. Those are gimme points that you have to convert. Zuerlein’s inconsistency could be a reason for Dallas to draft a kid like Sciba.
