2. Zach Ertz, Arizona Cardinals
The former Philadelphia Eagle is hitting the later years of his career. At 31 years old, he will likely end up signing a one- or two-year contract somewhere, and you’d think he would want to spend the last few years of his career with a big-name team that is trying to get themselves to a championship.
Jerry Jones should be excited about Ertz’s postseason experience and the fact that he knows the Cowboys well from his many years with the Eagles. Ertz is a durable player who has a very competitive mindset and is great at route running.
Despite his age, Ertz put up another great year, ending 2022 with 74 receptions for 763 yards, five touchdowns, and a PFF grade of 67.1.
I’m sure Cowboys fans will initially be antsy about signing a former NFC East foe, but this could actually be a great signing for Dallas. He will be more affordable than Schultz and could be a great complement to Jarwin.

Like Alie-Cox, Ertz is likely a player that Arizona will probably prioritize. The Cardinals know he has a championship mentality and he works well with Kyler Murray and Kliff Kingsbury.
It can’t hurt to dream, though, especially since it will no longer take a long-term commitment to secure Ertz at this point in his career.
