1. DJ Chark Jr., Jacksonville Jaguars

After a stellar 2019 season that landed him in the Pro Bowl, the world hasn’t seen much of DJ Chark Jr. He played 13 games for the Jags last year and has only played in four contests this season. So do you risk it on a guy who was great but is now unknown?

Sure, he is injured this season. Sure, Jacksonville has only given him subpar quarterbacks to play with. But we haven’t even seen what this guy can do thanks to an ankle injury in September that put him out for the season. He only had two touchdowns on the year.

If he can bounce back and have the 1,008 yards and eight touchdown season he did in 2019, then any team that gets him will be lucky. But at least the Cowboys have seen Gallup play since Week 4. Even the grab that tore Gallup’s ACL was remarkable.

With Chark Jr., the durability is just too up in the air. The one upside to Chark Jr. for the Cowboys is that they already have a pretty solid receiver corps. So even if he isn’t as productive as Amari Cooper or CeeDee Lamb, his speed could be worth having him on the roster.

To me, Jerry Jones and company should find a way to make it work with Gallup. He’s going to be way under the price point of stars like Davante Adams and Chris Godwin. And he has more to offer than these three players and plenty of other guys on the free agency list.
