214 relationship

Dak Prescott and Ezekiel Elliott have represented 214 ever since they were drafted back in 2016. 214 being the Dallas area code, and their numbers. Zeke mentioned that he and Dak met at the NFL combine and once they were both drafted by the Cowboys, became best friends thereafter.

Also, their birthdays are one week apart at the end of July. Zeke had a comical scene where he was wrapping a birthday present for Dak. The wrap job from Zeke was far from pristine, but he eventually got the job done. These two will continue to be vital parts of the Cowboys’ success and them being best friends is a nice added bonus.

Micah Parsons debut

The Cowboys’ first-round draft pick was featured plenty on this first episode. Parsons looked like a kid on Christmas when the Cowboys finally put the pads on in training camp. His playful personality was shown during practice as he was joking around will his new teammates. He even had a nice one-on-one battle with fullback Sewo Olonilua.

In said battle, Sewo beat Parsons for a touchdown reception but Parsons later responded with an interception of his own. The rookie quipped that the lion is always hungry and he will be expected to make game-changing plays all season.

Parsons was flying around the field in practice and wowing his teammates with his speed and athleticism from day one. Even in the hall of fame game he made three tackles and recovered a fumble. Micah was upset when he only got 11 snaps in his NFL debut. When talking to defensive coordinator Dan Quinn he asked if he could get one more, oping to get in for one more series.

But, Quinn was not having it. Dallas has been giving the luxury of having four preseason games so Parsons should get plenty of run in the upcoming games leading up to the season opener on September 9.
