1. Micah Parsons

The Cowboys’ first-round draft pick only played 11 snaps in the game, but he made all of them count. In those snaps, Cox recorded three tackles (all solo) and even recovered a fumble.

According to Pro Football Focus, Parsons recorded the best defensive grade for any Cowboys player in the game, a 78.8. He flashed his elite speed by tracking down a wide receiver on a screen pass.

It’s hard to have as big of an impact as Parsons did on only 11 snaps. This game goes to show the rookie doesn’t have to be on the field for long to show the traits that made him the 12th overall pick.

The snaps should only increase for Micah Parsons as we advance in the preseason. And the more snaps the first-rounder gets the more havoc he will wreak on the field.
