#2. Quarterback Play

Dak Prescott is not likely to play in this game due to shoulder fatigue he has been experiencing during training camp. But, the battle to his backup will be in full swing.

Garrett Gilbert vs. Cooper Rush vs. Ben DiNucci; only one can be the backup to Prescott this season and they will each get plenty of time in the preseason to see who wins the job.

Gilbert looks to be the front-runner for the backup job as he has looked the best in training camp. Plus he had some success in the one game he started last year, against the Steelers.

Hopefully, Dallas will not need to deploy their backup QB in 2021. But, the position is important nonetheless.
