At 6-foot-2, 207 pounds, with a 40-yard dash time possibly in the 4.2s, Farley has all the makings of a top 10 draft choice and the first or second cornerback off the board.

Here’s how Daniel Jeremiah of NFL Network brokedown Farley as a prospect …

"“There is plenty to like about Farley. He has ideal size, speed and fluidity. He’s at his best in press coverage. He mixes in a one- and two-hand jam, but will also patiently wait, react and attach to the hip of the receiver.”"

Farley is new to the cornerback position since he was recruited to Virginia Tech as a wide receiver. He has two years of defensive back play under his belt but his receiver background helps make him an elite playmaker in the secondary.

In 2019, Farley 20 total tackles, four interceptions, 12 pass deflections, and one defensive touchdown in 10 games for the Hokies. Opting out of the 2020 season, he recorded a total of six interceptions in only two seasons at Virginia Tech.

Farley’s presence in Dallas’ secondary should significantly increase the defensive takeaways. The Cowboys also added a new defensive coordinator in Dan Quinn, so now they need some playmakers to take this defense to a new level.
