3. San Francisco 49ers

From one legendary team to another. How about it? Could Dak Prescott pack his bags and head for the west coast? It would be a sad day, if so, especially if he joins one of the Cowboys’ oldest rivals. But anything is possible.

Mr. Jimmy Garoppolo may have used up all his sick days in San Francisco. The quarterback has spent four seasons with the 49ers, totaling only 31 regular-season games. Unlike Prescott with the Dallas Cowboys, Garoppolo does not carry the feature of availability in his tool kit.

Head coach Kyle Shanahan has proven to be a quarterback whisperer of sorts. He has coached up Matt Ryan, Robert Griffin III, and Kirk Cousins. Shanahan turned 41 recently.

The 49ers might be looking to re-energize the franchise with a spark. With Shanahan carrying a head coaching career record of 30-34, the coach may also be looking for a jump start. Could we see Prescott sporting the gold trim?

Overall, I like this pairing. The Dallas Cowboys couldn’t supplement Prescott with a supreme tight end after Jason Witten. In California, Prescott could be launching passes to tight end George Kittle. Prescott could be a great fit for San Francisco.
