The Dallas Cowboys injected new life into their 2020 season

With a win on Thanksgiving, the Dallas Cowboys can take a lead in the division, and looking at the division opponents’ schedule, it looks like it would be enough to keep the Cowboys in the hunt for the rest of the year.

Just a week ago I was already taking a peek into 2021 NFL draft prospects and here we are now talking about hosting a playoff game. The NFL season is a long and winding road that could result in early heartbreak and ending euphoria.

Before we deep dive into the Division opponents, I want to take this opportunity to say that I was wrong when I left this team for dead.

Hope is a very dangerous thing. Cowboys owner Jerry Jones sells hope at every turn and even his tone turned somber after the Dak Prescott injury. At this time, nobody is even remotely calling the Dallas Cowboys contenders. But hope is currently keeping these Dallas Cowboys alive.

Once you take a look at what the rest of the division has to deal with, I hope those of you who were all aboard “team tank”, can rightfully return and watch with hope that this version of the Cowboys can check off their first goal and win the NFC East.
