Dak Attack

The biggest surprise that just upset my stomach in time for Halloween is looking at the statistical category the Dallas Cowboys find themselves in. Quarterback Dak Prescott has not played in the past two games and did not finish the New York Giants game back in week four.

It amazes and sickens me to find out that the Dallas Cowboys are still ranked third in the entire NFL in total offense. This stat alone should legitimize Dak Prescott as a franchise quarterback and one that should be celebrated and not berated. Especially since his offensive line was considered patchwork at best.

The offense without Prescott looks nothing anywhere close to being third in the league. It was amazing to see Prescott on this torrid pace. His injury alone almost instantly gave everyone that feeling that the season was over.

It was NFL experts that convinced everyone that the ship would be ok without Prescott and Andy Dalton could just step in and keep the team afloat. We are all now hoping rookie quarterback Ben DiNucci can provide a spark.

Halloween is supposed to be a scary time of year. The 2020 Dallas Cowboys have provided that scare and much more. Please be safe everyone and Happy Halloween!
