Can’t tell you why the Cowboys are losing, but it’s not on Dak Prescott

The Dallas Cowboys were not good on Sunday, well all except for at least one guy. That would be Dak Prescott.

If not for Dak Prescott, the Cowboys don’t even have a chance in any of these games. He is one of the only bright spots in all of this.

The man is a baller and if you don’t agree with that, again, we know it’s just personal. How can you pass for 500 yards and lose a game? How can you score that many points in such a short amount of time and lose?

Okay, we know, when your defense has already given up an equal amount, but still, you get the point. The man is playing out of his mind and if you are one of those that still isn’t sure about getting the man his contract, you aren’t really a fan of the team. You are a fan of complaining about this team.

That’s a fact.

Whether it be the play where he threaded the needle to Amari Cooper on fourth down or whether it be the touchdown pass to Blake Jarwin. Whether it one of the few huge runs he had on called draws on Sunday or whether it be the initial touchdown pass to CeeDee Lamb, the guy made plays  Sunday and has been all season long.

Some of you will point to that CeeDee Lamb pass perhaps being underthrown, but I would ask about the pressure barreling down in his face and the fact that he probably couldn’t even see Lamb fully, but more so had a sense that he was alone and deep.

The facts of the matter are this, there are a few things that need to be adjusted quickly about this time, we see those things, we don’t like them, and they are causing us to lose games. The division is still awful though and that’s all you have to do, is win the awful division.

So while you don’t want to dig yourself too deep of a hole, two teams are awful, the other is still behind us in the standings due to a “tie” in their results column, and even if they weren’t, don’t look as talented as the Cowboys do.

Talent means nothing if you can’t put it all together though, I get that. The last fact is this though, no matter what or who you want to place the blame on, it can’t be Dak Prescott.

As again, with the issues that seem to be prevalent across the first four weeks, I can’t tell you why they are losing specifically, but I can tell you who’s fault it isn’t. That would be Dak Prescott, as he is doing all he humanly can to get them wins.
