Can’t tell you why the Cowboys are losing, but it’s not on Dak Prescott
The Dallas Cowboys look a lot better when they play with pace, so why don’t they all the time?
They looked much better on offense when they went uptempo, as they have all season long. The issue with that though is this, the quicker you score, the faster your defense comes on the field and subsequently, the less rest they have had time to receive before doing so.
They have to find a balance there. While it has cost us points, possessions, and who knows what further, ball security hasn’t typically been an issue for Ezekiel Elliott, but after the third fumble in as many games, you have to at least bring that to his attention at this point as well.
With all of this being said, there are a few things that the Cowboys need to clean up in order to try and still be their best selves. They still can and although we need this team to get better in themselves, our saving grace and the thing that buys them time is the fact the division is one of, if not the single poorest division in the league.
It seems like a roundabout way of doing things because it is, but hear this. Even with all of that and with the fact that we can’t pinpoint one specific thing that is the issue, but rather a few different things, there is one thing we can say that we know for certain that isn’t our issue.
Well, one person shall we say. That is one Rayne Dakota Prescott.
