2. Myles Garrett conundrum

Okay, you guys were right about worrying about the offensive line. Man, it sure feels like the “Great Wall” has reversed into a different mode. Look, the Cowboys played with Aaron Donald, now they’ll face Myles Garrett.

Now, you got to give the Cowboys credit for making adjustments last week when Joe Looney was feeling the achy, breaky heart at the center spot. Tyler Biadasz, a fourth-round rookie, came in, and things seemed to settle nicely with the adjustments.

This was a not so Mr. Jason Garrett move, where the old head coach was live and die with the way things were instead of making necessary game adjustments.

But then again, Prescott is mobile and made some nifty moves to escape the defenders. So, he gets credit there. Moving forward, I suspect this to be a solution whether the Cowboys desire that or not. Last week against Seattle, Prescott dropped back 57 times and was sacked twice.

I talked about Baker versus Dak, but we’re also hoping Prescott doesn’t see Myles Garrett’s facemask often. The task may prove difficult, but let’s see how head coach Mike McCarthy adjusts.

To date, Garrett has three sacks, eight tackles, and two forced fumbles. The six-foot-four, Texas A&M product was born in Arlington, Texas. He’s coming home, so I’d expect him to bring top energy back to Big D.
