Dak Prescott Delivers

Are you not entertained? Are … you … not … entertained?

The plays had to be made yesterday in order for the Cowboys to win the game, even amongst all of the Atlanta ineptness. Dak Prescott made the plays.

You asked for deeper passes and bigger plays. Well, he had time on Sunday and he delivered.

You asked for him to make better decisions with the ball, while still being explosive. He did on the Sunday, while also taking the time out to make a little bit of history.

He is the first quarterback in NFL history to pass for 400+ yards and rush for three TDs in a single game. He’s only the 14th quarterback to rush for three touchdowns in a game and the last one to do it since 2012.

He’s also primed to pass the guy who some of you say could come out and lead this team to better results, in far less time. After Sunday’s performance, Dak tied the legend that is Tony Romo for the most 400+ yards game in the team’s history.

That number is five such games. Dak will pass Romo, likely this season, but at some point and will only continue to stack those such games up, continuing to set the bar.

I promise you.

So, Dak Hate Fan club, this isn’t the week for you. But if you’re still in the fan club, again, it isn’t because you don’t think he can’t be a winning quarterback, because he clearly can, it has to be something else or something personal.

Yea, I know, you’ll say “it was the Falcons’ defense”. I’ll say this though, he was down 20-0 and the plays still had to be made.

The best defense, the worst defense, they are all NFL Defenses and that makes it hard. With no defense, it would be hard to make some of the plays he made, so you have to give the man his due.
