Dak Prescott Must Be Consistent

Dak Prescott must be consistent. Whatever that word means to you and for a quarterback, that’s what this means.

To name a few areas, he must consistently hit his receivers in stride, he must consistently place the ball in the right areas while minimizing the overthrows, he must consistently get his offense into easy positive play calls off of audibles when the defense is vulnerable, and he must consistently hit the big plays when they are open.

Speaking of the big play, he must also be consistent in taking advantage of his mismatches, as his wide receiver group is sure to present them in almost every game. While he doesn’t have to be John Elway or Troy Aikman every game (although we will probably need that a few times), he must never be a below-average quarterback.

There are tons of other things that could go here as well, meaning if it seems like a part of what you need to do on a play to play, drive to drive, quarter to quarter, half to half, or game to game basis in order to be a successful quarterback that also brings the most success to his team, that’s the stuff we are talking about here.

If the Dallas Cowboys can do these things, they should at least achieve the goals that I think would qualify them as a success, but possibly even more than that.

Let’s hope I am right about both the specific factors and it making them successful though, at least more right than I was with the Bold Prediction that the recently released HaHa Clinton-Dix eventually being one of the best players on this defense.

You win some, you lose some I guess.

These though, the things mentioned above, should only lead to wins for the Dallas Cowboys. That’s why if they can do these things with regularity and on a game to game basis, they should find success this season.
